Tirimanna, Vimal CSsR (Ed.) Asian Faces of Christ, OTC Theological Colloquium. Bangalore: Asian Trading Corporation, 2005. pp. 234. ISBN 81-7086-336-8. There is no person in human history who made such an indelible impact on humanity as the person of Jesus Christ. Now has there been any other personality who has meant so many things to so many peoples across the globe, down through the ages. Because Asia is so diverse - with different peoples, religions and cultures - in Asian Churches, there is a rich heritage of understanding / perception of who Jesus is, based on the unique experiences peoples at different times and epochs. In this sense, the OTC undertook to hold a theological colloquium on Asian Christology to share and understand what Jesus Christ means to different faith communities in

Asia. This book is the fruit of that colloquium. It is not the final word on the theological issues raised, but a first-step to further reflection and research. - Vimal Tirimanna, CSsR
